October 5- History Presentation at Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park.Come out to the Pilot Knob Interpretive Center and listen to Ski Witzofsky talk about the march of Nathan B. October 5-Spooktacular Saturdays are here for the month of October at the Benton County Public Library! To kick off our Spooktacular Saturdays, we will be showing Hocus Pocus on our movie screen with FREE popcorn, movie snacks, and drinks this week. Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 1:00 pm! We will also have an Oktoberfest fun table set up in the library with a fun Oktoberfest craft, foods, and facts beginning at Noon until closing at 5:00 pm! October 7-25- The 2019 United Way Good Neighbor Radio Auction, the biggest United Way fundraiser of the year, hits WRJB 95.9 radio waves on Monday, October 7. With all of the items up for auction and delicious lunches on the menu. The First United Methodist Church on the square is once again hosting the auction. Doors will open at 9 a.m. for anyone wishing to donate items or write in bids before they go on the air at 1 p.m. Lunch is served 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. The United Way Good Neighbor Radio Auction will run weekdays on 95.9 FM, from 1-5 p.m., October 7-25.

October 26- Haunted Trail. On the Saturday closest to Halloween at Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park. Every year near Halloween the Polk Creek Trail is visited by ghosts and ghouls of all kinds. Take a wagon ride from Shelter 1 to this ghostly site and be prepared for a scare!. For more information call the Park office at 731-584-6356.

October 28- Save the Date for Halloween on the Square--Oct. 28th! More information coming soon! 

October 28- Camden First Untited Methodist Church presents Halloween Candyland. Candy, Games, Snack, Drinks and FUN!! 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM.

November 2- Camden Merchant's Christmas Open House. Kick off the Christmas Season the first weekend in November with the Camden Merchants Association's Christmas Open House event. Sales, specials and refreshments.

November 1-2- Battle of Johnsonville Commemorative Living History Event- 1st Friday & Saturday of November. There will be artillery, infantry, calvary, and civilian demonstrations taking place at Eva Beach Day- Use Area in Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park and throughout Johnsonville State Historic Area. November 29- "The Day After Thanksgiving Hike". Always the Friday after Thanksgiving at Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park. Open to the public.

November 30- Lighting of :The Knob". One of the most spectacular events you will see during the Christmas season occurs on the last Saturday of each November at the top of Pilot Knob in Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park. Thousands of lights, refreshments, holiday music, and an appearance by Santa Claus himself. For more information call the Park office at 731-584-6356.

December 14- Camden  Christmas Parade- Santa Claus rolls down West Main Street at 3:00 every 2nd Saturday in December. For more information call the Benton County/Camden Chamber of Commerce at 731-584-8395.
